This March we have the double celebration of International Women's Day and Mother's Day in the UK. It is the perfect opportunity to celebrate women everywhere, in all walks and stages of life, and this is why we are launching two new styles of caps with women in mind. Both the bow flatcap and the daisy bakerboy are timeless feminine styles that are the perfect addition to any wardrobe.

We are celebrating who women are innately, all our extraordinary facets - the beautiful female genes. It's a very positive time in history where real women are celebrated as beautiful - not just an unattainable standard of beauty.
At Laird, we have great women contributing in all areas - from leading
sales in the shops, the backbone of production in the sewing room, to
being a key part of the head office team too.
Personally, I am a mother of 4, 3 of whom are daughters (with my youngest about to turn 3) so I know all about juggling, flexibility and multi tasking at work. To me being a woman is a privilege - sometimes a crazy ride. I love being a
mother, wife, colleague, friend, daughter, sister. Womanhood is something profound - a camaraderie of our shared female broad experience through life's ups and downs. It is a far cry from any cliche and exaggerated drag act, and a world away from fake Instagram filters - real women are strong, creative, intuitive, emotionally supportive,
complex and beautiful.
